HISTORY
It started with a great vision and a small premise. The vision was to give the people of India something more durable, versatile, and affordable to wear.
1985 proved to be an official turning point for implementing the great vision of Mr. Premchand Himatlal Shah.
He established PHI in 1985 to address the growing demand for durable, versatile, and affordable daily wear garments.
India, being a predominantly hot country, immediately showed strong support for PHI garments for all their daily clothing requirements hence making it easier for the company to grow and establish more manufacturing infrastructure.
The company went from owning a small room-like premise to establishing four state-ofthe-art production units, and five streams of production over 40 years.
The company has established a robust distribution network across several Indian states.
The idea of being a part of every Indian’s life has become the center of all the operations at PHI.
To keep this journey ever-growing, PHI is now run by the dynamic third generation. The third-generation leaders at the company encourage and implement the latest innovative technologies to foster better efficiency in production and all other operations.
